St. Helen's Church

St Helen's is a Christian community whose objectives are:

To be a church that is outward looking in terms of mission and pastoral outreach, and inward looking in strengthening of relationships, and to discern God's will by underpinning everything we do by personal prayer, corporate worship, and reflection on the word of God.
To maintain the tradition of excellence in worship and music but to be open to new expressions of both.
To support and work collaboratively with all clergy and fellow congregations in the Team Ministry, and to welcome opportunities for an expanded role for the laity.
To complete the renewal of St Helen's, to complete fund raising, to refurbish the upper room in the centre, and have a capital sum to maintain the church fabric.
To refresh the programme of welcome and witness to the growing population in the town centre.
