The earliest part of the church dates from around 1170, with the main structure built in 1320 by John and Elizabeth Golafre of Fyfield Manor. The pincipal service held at 10.30 am on the first Sunday of every month is the Village Service, a short informal service with refreshments afterwards. Holy Communion and Evensong are held at 6.30 pm on the second and fourth Sundays respectively.
