Annual Parochial Church Meeting
& Celebration of Church Life

The Annual Parochial Church Meeting will be held
at 7:30pm on Thursday, 3rd March 2011
in St Mary's Church, Cogges.

The meeting will begin with the formal business of the APCM which will cover the following items:

A meeting of parishioners to elect two Churchwardens (nomination form enclosed or text version) Minutes of the 2010 APCM (enclosed or text version) A report on the revision of the electoral roll (enclosed or text version) The annual report and financial statements of the PCC for 2010 (enclosed or text version) The Churchwardens' report on the fabric, ornaments and goods of St Mary's Church, Cogges (enclosed or text version) A report on the proceedings of the Deanery Synod (enclosed or text version) An election of four members of the laity to the Deanery Synod and five members of the laity to the PCC (nomination form enclosed or text version) The appointment of an independent financial examiner for 2011 (the PCC has nominated A J Carter & Co) Questions or comments on matters of Parochial interest Any other business

There will be short presentations on the following areas of ministry:

• Men's ministry
• Women's ministry
• Outreach - Alpha and the Mobilise Group
• Children and young people's ministry
• Gifts review
• Strategic overview

and the vicar will then report on highlights of the year. Those involved in other ministries will also have the opportunity to share what God has been doing.

The meeting will conclude with a time of worship and the commissioning of the new PCC.
