St Leonard's is a family friendly, evangelical church with an active
membership of approximately 100 people of all ages.
We are here to:
- Worship
God
- Care
for one another
- Make
Jesus Christ known
As followers of the Lord Jesus Christ, our aim is to live our lives
in accordance with his priorities.
Jesus summed these up as "Love the Lord your
God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind"
and "Love your neighbour as yourself" (Matthew Chapter
22:verses 37-39).
As a church family, we believe that this has implications for all
of us, both corporately and individually. As a church, we commit ourselves
to fulfil the vision to which God has called us, and to review that
commitment regularly. As individuals we would wish to do the same.
As we worship God we aim to:
- Deepen
our relationship with Him.
- Worship
Him wholeheartedly: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
- Grow
together in spiritual maturity.
- Serve
Him with all our gifts within church and in our everyday lives.
As we care for one another we aim
to:

and respond to each other's needs.

and appreciate the value of each individual.
As
we make Christ known
we aim to:

people to become followers of Jesus Christ and to follow him
