  • Sunday Pathfinders

This group meets during Church most Sunday mornings. It is for those in school years 7 - 11 with the purpose being to learn more about our faith through a variety of means, whether through discussion, music, games, video or even food! We look at what the Bible can teach us about us, life and the world.

  • Friday Pathfinders

As the name suggests, this takes place on Friday evening and is for those in school years 7 -11. The evenings are varied in their format from themed nights (e.g. chocolate night, round the world etc.) to chilled evenings (e.g. table tennis, pool, crafts, sports, computer games) to project nights (e.g. sports, cooking, building things, drama, music). We also do trips out which have included bowling, swimming, ice-skating, Drayton Manor etc.

The aim of Friday Pathfinders is to provide a safe place where young people can have fun together, have an opportunity to build relationships with each other and with leaders, and for the leaders to be positive role models.

  • Cell Groups

There are 5 Cell groups that meet on different days of the week at different people's homes. They are for those in school years 7 - 13 and are a chance to chat, pray, question, discuss, explore, worship, create, laugh and grow. If you are interested in joining one then speak to Helen and she can direct you to the one that will be most suitable.

  • School Groups

As part of the youth work here at St. Leonard's, we aim to serve the local primary and secondary schools in any way possible, e.g. helping with secondary tutorials, trips and taking assemblies. We also run a couple of groups that are linked to the schools, which are:

A.S.K. - This takes place in the local primary school and is for those in school years 5 & 6. It is a chance to get together, have fun and burn off some energy through games and activities whilst finding out more about God.

Toasties - An informal group for 6th formers that, as the name suggests, involves making toasted sandwiches in one of the class rooms. It's a chance to unwind and chat whilst getting some food too!
