The Cornerstone is a coffee shop and
Christian bookshop opened in November 1995 and run by four churches in Grove. We
take pride in offering personal service to all our customers.
The coffee shop offers a variety of food ranging from hot meals to light
bites and homemade cakes, including a take-away service. Children's
portions, high chairs and baby changing are available. Group bookings and
outside catering can be arranged, and celebration cakes to order.
The bookshop provides a range of books for both adults and children, Bibles,
reading notes and reference material, as well as CDs, (including audio
books),DVDs and videos, plus bookmarks, greetings cards and other stationery
items. A free ordering service is available.
The Cornerstone stocks Traidcraft tea and coffee, grocery items and household
paper products as well as Traidcraft and Tearcraft gift items and jewellery.
We hold a prayer breakfast at 8.30am on the second Saturday of each month to
which all are welcome to come and learn about the needs of the Cornerstone and
to share in prayer and breakfast together.
The Cornerstone is open from 9.30am to 4.30pm Monday-Friday
and 10am-4pm on Saturday, and is located in the Grovelands shopping centre
