The Church Grounds - Inside The Church

The first sight of our church is this, as you walk down the driveway

This is the back of the church, seen from the lawn. The stone in the wall reads "To The Glory of God AD 1965". The buildings for the earlier churches were elsewhere within the grounds

The graveyard to one side and behind the church contains graves dating back to 1836

The carving on this lectern is one of three Maltese Crosses, the emblem of St. John, which decorate the church

The font (located just off the left-hand side of the above photo) came from another church, and is older than Grove Parish Church

The most prominent of the stained glass windows is this depiction of St. James, after whom the first church on the site took its name

All the vicars at the two churches are listed on this board
