A Shepherd's Crook stick
was donated by the Benefice of St Giles and St Margaret's to The Rt Reverend Richard Harries, Bishop of Oxford, to mark his retirement in 2006.  The presentation was made at a party on 18 February, held at St Margaret's Institute Community Centre, and attended by many members of the congregation of both churches.
The stick was hand-crafted by Mr Bill Miles, a retired Forester and Game Keeper from the Forest of Dean,
who has organised Bream Stick Show for many years.
