MISSION SUPPORT

At Holy Trinity we not only have active links with our local community, but also with Christian churches in other parts of the UK and the rest of the world.  These links are through a mixture of personal contacts by members of the Parish, financial aid and prayer.

We aim to provide financial aid to a number of Christian charities, amounting to 10% of voluntary income from parishioners.  The following organisations are ones that have been supported in the last two years:

There are two main areas where members of the Parish have personal contacts.  Firstly in Kenya, where we help sponsor a young person to University, and secondly in Papua New Guinea where we have given general financial support to teachers at Anglican schools and specific support following a volcanic eruption and tidal wave.

We also support world disaster relief to the best of our ability.
