LIFE OF THE CHURCH

Coffee Hour - Weekly Event - We serve coffee and tea in the Church Hall after the 9:30 service on Sundays (or after the 10:30am service on the first Sunday).  Real coffee and home-made biscuits - not to be missed!  Back to Social Events Page

Table Tennis - Weekly Event - This friendly club meets every Monday at 7:30pm and is the longest-established social group at Holy Trinity.  We have two good quality tables; the quality of the players is not, however, guaranteed!  Back to Social Events Page

Flower Arranging - Weekly (other than Advent and Lent) - Meet on a Friday at 10:00am in the church.  There is no qualification required for joining the group beyond enthusiasm and an interest in the flower arranger's art.  The group usually numbers six people which can be augmented for Flower Festivals with friends in the High Wycombe Flower Club.  The group will also decorate the church for weddings if asked.  Back to Social Events Page

Pot Luck Lunches - Monthly Event - These are held on the first Friday of the month at 1pm.  Bring along some food and join in a convivial shared meal.  A donation of £1 is invited towards church funds.  Back to Social Events Page

Harvest Lunch - Annual Event - On the first Sunday of October we lay on a lunch in Prestwood or Great Kingshill Village Hall.  Lunch is followed by an entertaining auction of harvest donations, the proceeds going to a chosen charity.  Back to Social Events Page

Pancake Party - Annual Event - held every Shrove Tuesday, giving you the chance to consume an unlimited number of pancakes for a modest fee.  Back to Social Events Page

Theatre Outings - Irregular Event - We often go to the theatre as a group, sharing our cars rather than hiring a coach.  These outings, especially appreciated by those living on their own, include a visit to The Mill at Sonning in the New Year, and the Wycombe Swan during the year.  Back to Social Events Page
